Building engineering orgs that ship faster with AI
Engineering Manager at Sixt. Two-time founder. Building AI-first teams from Munich.
About Me

I'm an Engineering Manager at Sixt in Munich — but before that, I was a two-time founder in Argentina who built companies from zero, shipped products, hired teams, and learned what happens when your product works but the market collapses overnight. That founder DNA shapes everything I do: I think in products, I build organizations, and I move fast without breaking people.
My path to Munich was deliberate. After closing my startup during Argentina's currency crisis, I took senior IC roles with US teams to prove my skills internationally, then joined Sixt — first as a Senior Engineer rebuilding their booking platform, then promoted to lead a 20+ person engineering organization across 5 countries. Today I'm driving AI-powered engineering workflows that have cut our cycle time in half and tripled sprint throughput, making my team Sixt's lead adopter of agentic coding.
I host 'No lo testeamos', a podcast about the human side of software engineering in Latin America. I speak fluent English and Spanish, and I'm currently learning German and Italian. I'm energized by what's ahead: the intersection of AI, product, and engineering leadership — and the chance to build something extraordinary again.
Work Experience

Sixt | Munich
Engineering Manager
Nov 2022 – Present
Promoted to build and lead the Customer Identity & Loyalty engineering organization from scratch. Grew from 7 to 20+ engineers across three teams (Core Backend, Fullstack Web, Mobile), owning all authentication, registration, account management, loyalty, and document verification flows for B2C and B2B across Web, Android, and iOS.
Lead a globally distributed team across 5 countries (Germany, Portugal, Croatia, Ukraine, India), including maintaining team stability with engineers in an active war zone. Led the cross-company frontend rollout of Sixt's new loyalty program across four teams — hitting the 6-month enrollment target in just over 4 months.
Spearheaded AI-driven engineering adoption, making the team Sixt's lead implementer of agentic coding workflows. Results: 50% reduction in cycle time (6→3 days), 50% faster code reviews (2→1 day), and 3x throughput per sprint.
Drove organizational restructuring: split the original team into specialized squads and promoted an IC into an Engineering Manager role. Invested in cross-team leadership development through a book club and role-playing sessions for difficult conversations. Actively involved in strategic planning, OKR definition, technical roadmap ownership, and cross-functional prioritization.

Sixt | Munich
Senior Software Engineer
May 2021 – Nov 2022
Joined Sixt remotely from Argentina and relocated to Munich to rebuild the core booking funnel — migrating from a PHP monolith to a React/TypeScript micro-frontend architecture within a monorepo, enabling 50+ engineers to deploy independently.
Led one of two engineering pods (15 engineers total), driving technical decisions, tech debt prioritization, and delivery alignment with product. Achieved full deprecation of the legacy funnel within 3 months of launch. Technical leadership in this role led directly to promotion to Engineering Manager.

Senior Software Engineer
Apr 2019 – Apr 2021
Delivered 5 MVPs for FinTech startups as part of a team augmentation consultancy, working with US-based teams and standards. Operated across React, React Native, Flutter, and Vue depending on client needs. Several of these products evolved into operating companies post-launch. First international role, deliberately chosen to build a track record with global teams after closing Shift Metrics.

Shift Metrics | Cordoba, Argentina
CTO & Co-Founder
Oct 2015 – Apr 2019
Co-founded and built a real-time KPI analytics platform that aggregated data from multiple sources (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Twitter Ads, Google Sheets, custom databases) into a single dashboard, enabling startups to replace gut-feeling decisions with data-driven insights.
Grew the company from 2 co-founders to a 10-person team (7 engineers). Designed the full architecture (MongoDB, Node.js, Vue.js) and led all technical decisions around data integration, secure multi-tenant storage, real-time synchronization, and visualization UX for non-technical users.
Fully bootstrapped. Company closed in 2019 due to Argentina's currency crisis (peso devalued 80% overnight), which caused mass customer churn. The product was working — the market collapsed.
